Charging Your Leased EV at Home and in Public
There are many great reasons to drive an electric vehicle (EV): it’s efficient, environmentally friendly and fun. Even better, when you lease an electric vehicle (EV) through work, your employer might include free home and public charging from ChargePoint in your EV lease package.
Charging at home simplifies the EV driving experience. Here’s how to get home charging for your leased EV through our EV charging partner, ChargePoint.

Once you lease your EV, and you are eligible for a home charger, you will need to give us notice of your order. You’ll then get a unique order link from your employer by email. Click the link to sign up which will automatically submit a request for a ChargePoint home charger. You’ll be notified by email when your request is approved.
Your ChargePoint account will give you access to thousands of charging spots across Europe, as well as let you manage home charging with the ChargePoint app.
Talk to an installer
After you request home charging, an installer will give you a call to make sure your home is ready for EV charging. Your EV charging lease includes a home charger that will add up to 40 kilometers of Range Per Hour of charging.
These are the specifications of a Standard Home Installation:

Please note that most homes will not need this and will fit within the standard installation package.

Schedule installation
If your home is approved for home charging, you’ll schedule an installation date with your installer. The installer will take care of all the aspects of installation, including activating your home charger so you can set reminders and track your charging. If you are granted free charging at home by your employer you will need to be reimbursed for the electricity used to charge your car.
